You are in the Lobby of the 21st Century Annex
Who knows what kind of paper or other materials postcards will be made of in the future. The inventions of the later half of the 20th Century reeked havoc on the postcard. The postcards of today are treated as a souvenir and are not purchased with the intent on mailing it. There are currently virtual postcards (image and a message) you can send over the Internet as an email, but it's just not the same as having that picture and note physically in you hand. It seems that the majority of Chicago postcards are produced by The Postcard Factory, Ontario Canada and The Postcard Factory, Chicago, Illinois.
